1. Data Collection

CuraCal gathers minimal and specific information required to organize caregiving schedules and medicine synchronization:

  • Medication Records: We collect names, dosages, frequencies, and schedules of your medications to notify you and your linked family members.
  • Caregiving Links: We map relation details (e.g. parent, spouse, child) that you explicitly register, enabling real-time status alerts for care syncing.
  • Account Authentication: We utilize Google Authentication protocols to secure logins. We store only your basic identifier details (email address and profile name) provided by Google Auth. We do not access or store your Google Account password.

2. Data Sharing

Your privacy is central to our design. CuraCal enforces strict limitations on health data sharing:

Strict Caregiver Sharing Only: Health details and medication completion histories are shared ONLY with the caregiver accounts or family member accounts you have explicitly connected inside the application. No external contacts can view this data.

Zero Third-Party Advertising or Selling: We do not monetize your data. We never sell, lease, rent, or distribute your personal details, email, or health histories to third-party advertising companies, data brokers, or marketing networks.

3. Account Deletion & Data Wiping

You hold complete ownership of your data. If you decide to stop using CuraCal, you can remove your presence immediately through the following pathways:

  • In-App Deletion: Tap on the "Account Settings" menu in your CuraCal Android app and click "Delete Account". This triggers an automated wipe.
  • Web Request Form: If you have uninstalled the app or cannot log in, submit an online request using our Web Deletion Form. Your request will be fulfilled, and files deleted within 24 hours.

4. Security

We deploy robust infrastructure configurations to prevent unauthorized access, alternation, disclosure, or destruction of your care logs:

Firebase Protection: We use industry-standard Firebase encryption algorithms to encrypt and shield data in transit and at rest. Security rules protect database accesses, ensuring only authorized userIDs can query specific health paths.
